INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN AGRICULTURAL INNOVATIONS AND STORAGE TECHNOLOGIES IS THE FOCUS OF THE AGROWORLD AND COLDCHAIN QAZAQSTAN 2024 EXHIBITIONS
FROM OCTOBER 30 TO NOVEMBER 1, 2024, ALMATY WILL HOST THE LARGEST EXHIBITIONS: THE 18TH CENTRAL ASIAN INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURE EXHIBITION - AGROWORLD QAZAQSTAN AND THE 8TH CENTRAL ASIAN INTERNATIONAL COLD STORAGE, TRANSPORTATION AND COLD CHAIN SERVICES EXHIBITION - COLDCHAIN QAZAQSTAN.
For the first time in 18 years, 25 countries of the world will be represented at the site of the leading expo event of the agricultural industry in the south of Kazakhstan - the AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2024 exhibition!
Over 180 manufacturing companies will demonstrate the latest agricultural technologies in Almaty. The focus of the exhibition is on advanced developments and innovative solutions for the agro-industrial complex of companies from Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Israel, India, Jordan, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, the USA, Turkey, Uzbekistan, France, the Czech Republic, Japan.
With the state support of industry departments, national and collective expositions of the following countries have been formed: Germany, Malaysia, the Netherlands and South Korea. Agricultural technologies will be presented by regional stands from the Russian Federation: manufacturers from the Republic of Tatarstan and Stavropol Territory.
At the exhibition, more than 30 companies from Kazakhstan and 150 foreign manufacturing companies will demonstrate efficient equipment and innovative products for poultry farming, livestock farming, veterinary medicine, crop production, fertilizers, greenhouses, plant protection, gardening, growing vegetables/fruits, irrigation, as well as agricultural machinery, units, solutions for the construction of farms and agricultural buildings, storage, processing and logistics of agricultural products.
AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2024 traditionally offers the rapidly developing market of the agro-industrial complex and agriculture of Kazakhstan not only advanced achievements and agricultural technologies, but also serves as a powerful platform for the exchange of experience between professionals from different countries, deservedly being the most important comprehensive business event of the industry on an international scale in the south of Kazakhstan.
The development of the industry is also indicated by statistical data, as the gross agricultural output of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the first half of 2024 reached 1.6 trillion KZT. This growth is due to an increase in production in livestock farming by 3.5% and in crop production by 3%. “82 projects worth 66.5 billion KZT have been commissioned, including dairy farms, poultry farming, irrigation systems and product storage projects. Important areas remain the processing of meat, milk and grain, as well as the development of greenhouse farming, which will improve the quality and competitiveness of Kazakhstani products", noted Olzhas Tlebaldin, official representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
To improve the efficiency of the industry, a comprehensive processing plan, aimed at increasing the share of processed products to 70% of all raw materials by 2028, has been approved. It is planned to allocate 372 billion KZT for its implementation, of which 150 billion will be spent on investments in technologies and innovations. In 2025, the largest robotic milk farm will be launched, and a plant for the production of eggs with a long shelf life will be built.
The participants of the exhibition will include such companies as AlemVet (Kazakhstan), AGRO-FOOD-GASTRO (Uzbekistan), DONGXIAO (China), Royal Pas Reform (Netherlands), CARGILL (USA), KAZBIOVIT (Kazakhstan), Grand Construction (Kazakhstan), VSO Profile and Technostil (Russia), URALCHEM (Russia), KOAT (South Korea), KOPPERT (Netherlands), AMAZONE (Germany), FUMSUN (China), Unitec (Italy), MAREL (Netherlands), FAM STUMABO (Belgium), Metzer Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan), Vencomatic Group (Netherlands). These companies will bring to the exhibition the latest developments that can change the usual processes in agriculture.
The interest of participants in AgroWorld Qazaqstan is especially high this year: 34% of the total number of companies will take part in the exhibition for the first time, which indicates a high level of trust in the event on the part of business. Among the debutants are such companies as Eurasia Group Kazakhstan (Kazakhstan), Kohshin Engineering (Japan), MCFP (Jordan), Gelan (Russia), Irritec (Italy), CHEM-plus (Kazakhstan), DTRADE (Kazakhstan), Yetti Xazina (Uzbekistan), Morris (USA), Jomapeks (Serbia), Shitemir (Kazakhstan).
Particular attention will be paid to the topic of poultry farming, where about 30 companies from 10 countries: Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia and Turkey will present their advanced solutions. Leading industry players such as VDH Products (Netherlands), Zucami (France), NEOFORCE (Russia), PEJA (Netherlands) and FACCO (Italy) will demonstrate the most modern technologies for the efficient management of poultry farming business.
The exhibition venue will traditionally host a rich business program: plenary sessions with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the international forum AgriFORUM with a series of specialized seminars from agricultural experts dedicated to industry transformation, innovative approaches and efficient agricultural management.
This year, the central topic of the business program of the exhibition and AgriFORUM was “Agriculture of the Future”. After all, more and more attention in the world and in Kazakhstan in particular is paid to the issue of efficient, rational and careful use of natural resources, the use of new eco-technologies in various areas of agriculture: from sowing crops, cultivating land, to processing and producing safe and healthy products.
AgriFORUM will host two expert sessions dedicated to the implementation of new principles of agricultural activities: the training “Organic Farming and Certification: Reliable Access to International Markets and Increasing Income”, which will introduce farmers to the advantages and technologies of organic farming, certification procedures and the importance of crop rotation, export and business. And the seminar “Soil health and technologies for restoring the productivity of disturbed lands” on the problems of soil degradation, measures to restore and preserve its fertile layer. Here, speakers from Europe and Kazakhstan will present scientific and practical data on the development of sustainable farming as the basis of a prosperous society.
The key event of the exhibition program will be a specialized workshop seminar “Dutch technologies in poultry farming”. Farmers and entrepreneurs will gain impressive experience of Dutch innovation supplier companies, technologies adapted for Kazakhstan: from incubators of the future, increasing productivity and indicators in poultry farming to safe processing, vaccination and wastewater management.
The content of the business program will also include the Plenary Session “Innovative and Digital Solutions for the AIC of Kazakhstan” with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of this session, issues of implementation of innovative and digital technologies in the AIC; exchange of experience and best practices, as well as prospects for international cooperation and investment in the sector will be discussed.
Experts from Germany, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia and other countries, as well as representatives of industry associations and unions are among the speakers of the exhibition program.
AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2024 exhibition will be a significant event for the agricultural sector, providing companies and farmers of Kazakhstan with a platform for direct interaction, discussing cooperation and concluding deals, offering a unique view of the future of the agro-industrial complex through new modern solutions.
In parallel with AgroWorld Qazaqstan, the ColdChain Qazaqstan 2024 exhibition will be held, dedicated to refrigeration equipment, cold storage and logistics design services for agro-industrial, food enterprises, warehouses and the HoReCa sector. This is the only local exhibition in Central Asia on the topic of cold supply chain, which emphasizes the importance of an integrated approach to agricultural business in the region.
