NEXT GENERATION POULTRY FARMING: KAZAKHSTAN AND THE NETHERLANDS JOIN FORCES AT AGROWORLD QAZAQSTAN

FROM OCTOBER 29 TO 31, 2025, A KEY EVENT IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF CENTRAL ASIA WILL TAKE PLACE IN ALMATY, WHICH ANNUALLY BRINGS TOGETHER LEADING COMPANIES OF THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY, FARMERS, INVESTORS, AND SUPPLIERS OF INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS FROM AROUND THE WORLD.

This year, two exhibition pavilions of the Atakent Exhibition Center (pavilions No. 9 and No. 10) will host the 19th Central Asian International Exhibition 'Agriculture' — AgroWorld Qazaqstan 2025. As per tradition, a large-scale business program of the AgriForum 2025 agro-industrial forum will be organized during the exhibition days. The central theme of the season is 'Agribusiness Today: Innovations for Sustainable Development.'

A separate event will be the continuation of the successful 2024 project — a special session 'Dutch Solutions and Innovations for the Poultry Business,' organized by the Dutch Poultry Centre, the Embassy of the Netherlands in Kazakhstan, and the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan.

Today, poultry farming holds a special place in the development of the country's food security and is one of the most dynamic sectors of the agro-industrial complex. The direction set by the Ministry of Agriculture aims to achieve 100% self-sufficiency in poultry meat by 2027. To implement this strategic task, it is planned to expand existing productions and launch new poultry farms, such as the Makinskaya poultry farm, 'Prima Kus,' 'Northern Broiler,' and others. In these processes, the AgroWorld Qazaqstan exhibition plays an important role, facilitating investment attraction, innovation implementation, and international experience exchange. Only at the exhibition venue is the Poultry section exclusively and traditionally presented on a large scale. In the 2025 exhibition, more than 25 companies from 15 countries will participate in this section alone.

Experience exchange with the Kingdom of the Netherlands, a world leader in technology and innovation in the agricultural sector, greatly contributes to the development of Kazakhstani poultry farming. Dutch solutions in feeding, incubation, processing, veterinary, and education are recognized worldwide and serve as a reliable foundation for enhancing the efficiency and competitiveness of the industry in Kazakhstan. This will be the focus of the special session 'Dutch Solutions and Innovations for the Poultry Business,' which will take place on October 29 in Pavilion 9 from 13:00 to 15:00, bringing together leading experts and companies from both countries.

During the session, participants will be able to learn about the advanced practices and innovative solutions of world leaders in the poultry industry. Key topics include the prospects for developing future feeds, modern incubation technologies that increase production profitability, and cost-effective solutions for Kazakhstani poultry farms. Special attention will be given to innovations in poultry processing and issues of reliable access to veterinary drugs through global supplies. The program will conclude with a presentation on the benefits of cooperation with the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan (TBC), highlighting the importance of international partnership for the sustainable development of the industry.

During the event, a Memorandum will be signed between Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands on mutually beneficial cooperation and experience exchange in the poultry industry, innovation implementation, and specialist training.

Special attention will be given to the opening of the National Stand of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which will feature 14 companies — world leaders in poultry farming, feeding, processing, veterinary, and educational programs: Aeres, Dutch Poultry Centre, Fancom, HatchTech, Hato, Impex, JBT Marel, Muller Beltex, QS Vets, RSBD, Trouw Nutrition, Val Co, VAV Conveyor Components & Solutions, Vencomatic Group.

The constant partner of the exhibition and this event is the Union of Poultry Farmers of the Republic of Kazakhstan, led by the new head Kairat Maishev. This is the main professional association in our country, representing the interests of the entire industry in Kazakhstan, which includes more than 60 specialized enterprises. Annually, the Union of Poultry Farmers of the Republic of Kazakhstan works to strengthen the industry's positions, its development, the introduction of new technologies, experience exchange with foreign colleagues, and building an effective dialogue with the state.

The AgroWorld Qazaqstan exhibition becomes that unique platform where the synergy of knowledge and experience of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Kazakhstan is created for the benefit of the poultry industry development. Here, advanced technologies and innovations of international companies are combined with national priorities and the country's food security strategy, forming a solid foundation for long-term cooperation, the implementation of the best global practices, and sustainable industry growth.

The organizer of the exhibitions, as per tradition, is the Kazakhstani exhibition company ITECA and its international partner – ICA Events Group.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty city, the Union of Greenhouses of Kazakhstan, the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan, and the Association of Gardeners of the Almaty Region.
