On behalf of the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan, let me extend our cordial greetings to all participants, visitors and organizers of the 21st Central-Asian International Exhibition for Food Industry WorldFood Kazakhstan 2018 and 13th Central-Asian International Agriculture Exhibition AgroWorld Kazakhstan 2018.
These exhibitions provide professionals of the industry as well as producers and suppliers of the agricultural products with an excellent opportunity to meet in person and share experience with the international experts, find potential clients, dealers and investors, sign agreements and expand their market share. With this being said, it is difficult to imagine the modern agrarian business without such platforms which contribute significantly into studying and summarizing the best international practices of the agricultural industry and determining the most promising areas of further development.
Poultry farmers of Kazakhstan make the most of all available possibilities for the sustainable development of the production potential, intensified integration processes and introduction of the latest achievements of science and technology, contributing to the overall increase of the competitiveness of the industry.

5Trade and economic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan are developing dynamically, covering a wide range of spheres, becoming stronger every year, more reliable and more stable. Food industry is one of the basic and rapidly developing industries of our countries. Importance of providing organic, quality, safe and diverse food products is of key importance and is one of the tools for development of healthy society and the state as a whole.
The prestige of this event is determined by wide geography of its participants, by demonstration of a rich spectrum of recent achievements in food industry, which undoubtedly has a positive impact on the further development of the industry.
I am confident that this event will help to unite and strengthen the ties between producers, suppliers and consumers directly and, as a result, to promote development of small and medium-sized businesses of our countries.

Dear Participants and Guests of the Exhibitions!
I am delighted to congratulate you all with the opening of Food Industry Exhibition WorldFood Kazakhstan 2018.
5 October 2018, the President of the republic of Kazakhstan addressed a message to the people of Kazakhstan: “WELFARE GROWTH OF KAZAKHSTAN PEOPLE: INCOME AND LIFE QUALITY ENCREASE”. The head of the country emphasised that nowadays, the increase of productivity by 2.5 times and export of processed agricultural production is the key goal.
Using of up-to-date systems in the food sector and agriculture has become more important in the economy of Kazakhstan. That is why specialised exhibitions focusing on the latest technologies in these industries are of big interest.
Through many years, the exhibitions have been gaining a reputation of the significant and demanded events in Almaty city. Prestige of the shows is being proved by a participants’ extended geography and a wide range of demonstrated food technologies. Thus, WorldFood Kazakhstan has grown from 77 up to 370 exhibiting companies during the period 1998-2018.
Administration of Almaty city pays a lot of attention to such exhibitions because food manufacturing development is a priority for the city and covers 40% of the whole processing industry. According to results of 9 months in 2018, 244 food manufacturers made production worth 187,1 billion tenge.
I have no doubt that this year WorldFood Kazakhstan the largest international exhibitions of Central Asia will fully demonstrate the present-day focus and tendencies of the food industry setting the further development trajectory of the domestic manufacturing sectors for the foreseeable future.
Let me take this opportunity to wish fruitful work, achievement of all targeted goals, and enjoyable stay in our city to all participants, guests, and organizers of the exhibition.

WorldFood Kazakhstan has been proving its impressive effectiveness within two decades by now, being a platform for the demonstration of food products, beverages, machinery and equipment, and also viable solutions for the companies of various spheres of the food sector, processing industry and agriculture. I have no doubt that this time the exhibition will once again gather the best professionals of these sectors.
I would like to thank for the invitation to be a part of such an important event, and I am quite confident that the exhibition will have a very favorable impact on the development of both the poultry industry of Kazakhstan and other areas of agribusiness.

Allow me to greet and congratulate everyone on the opening of the 21st Central Asian International Food Exhibition “WorldFood Kazakhstan 2018” and the 13th Central Asian International Agriculture Exhibition “AgroWorld Kazakhstan 2018”. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the organizing committee for the opportunity to greet and congratulate all the participants and guests.
Kazakhstan is the center of economic and socio-cultural exchange in Central Asia. This exhibition is focused on agricultural technology, food production technology, food culture, food trends, products of Central Asia, which contribute to the development of the food industry not only in Kazakhstan, but also in other countries like Korea, Russia, Germany, China, and India.
Since 2008, the Republic of Korea has been a regular participant in the “WorldFood Kazakhstan” exhibition and provides Korean food and technology to Kazakhstan, contributing to the expansion of bilateral relations, by building partnerships in various fields.
Food is not only a very important factor necessary for a person to maintain life, but it is also a value for health, for the person’s well-being and pleasure. Agriculture and the food industry – are the fields that have fundamental meaning to a country and the people’s standard of living. Therefore, the development of these industries is very important.
I support the policy of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan in promoting domestic agriculture and the food industry, and I hope that the exhibition will bring more vivid opportunities for expansion in these projects.
I wish “WorldFood Kazakhstan” and “AgroWorld Kazakhstan” further development, and to all the participants and guests of the exhibition - promising meetings and stable partnerships!
