KAZAKHSTAN STARTED WHEAT DELIVERIES TO THE UK
Kazakhstan this year significantly expanded the geography of grain supplies. In particular, for the first time supplies to the UK, Belgium, Poland, Portugal, Norway and other countries. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.
"Active interest to Kazakhstan's products are shown by buyers from the UAE, Vietnam and North African countries. Only on the line of the national grain operator NC Food Contract Corporation JSC in North Africa (Morocco) and Vietnam was exported about 60 thousand tonnes and 15 thousand tonnes of wheat, respectively," - reported in the Ministry of Agriculture.
In addition, Kazakh grain shippers resumed shipments to Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, which had been interrupted for the past five years. Exports of durum wheat to Italy increased significantly.
According to KTZ, from September 2024 to July 2025 Kazakhstan exported 12.4 million tonnes of grain and flour in grain equivalent, which is 34% higher than the same period in 2023/2024 (9.3 million tonnes).
Significantly increased supplies of grain and flour to Uzbekistan - by 28.2% (from 3 million 384 thousand tonnes to 4 million 338 thousand tonnes), Tajikistan - by 39.2% (from 1 million 39 thousand tonnes to 1 million 446 thousand tonnes), Kyrgyzstan - 2.5 times (from 156 thousand tonnes to 398 thousand tonnes), Iran - 17.3 times (from 56 thousand tonnes to 974 thousand tonnes), Azerbaijan - 120 times (from 6 thousand tonnes to 723 thousand tonnes).
