THE NEW NORMALITY OF THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY: TRENDS AND PROSPECTS AT THE AGROWORLD QAZAQSTAN 2021 INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION!

NOVEMBER 3 - 5, 2021 CENTRAL ASIAN INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURAL EXHIBITION - AGROWORLD QAZAQSTAN WILL CELEBRATE ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY. THE EXHIBITION WILL BE TRADITIONALLY HELD IN THE CITY OF ALMATY, ATAKENT EXHIBITION CENTER.

In the new times, where the development depends on the speed of making the right decisions and rapid adaptability, the agricultural industry has faced new challenges to ensure sustainable development of national food security. Agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan, perhaps, is one of the few that managed to maintain its position during the crisis, and for a number of indicators even to improve them. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, gross agricultural output in 7 months of 2021 increased by 2.4 percent.

Over the 15 years of successful work, AgroWorld Qazaqstan has proven to be a complex platform for dialogue in Central Asia, bringing together the interests of government agencies, industry associations and unions, local farmers and businesses to achieve the main goal: providing the country's population with quality and affordable food and establishing interstate cooperation in agribusiness, as well as the planned development of the country's agriculture.

To date, companies from 12 countries such as Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia and a number of domestic enterprises have confirmed their participation. Kazakhstan agricultural enterprises offer a wide range of innovative equipment and technologies from all over the world to ensure the effective functioning of the industry and increase the profitability of farms.

The meeting of the agricultural business community with such a wide geography on one platform will definitely contribute to identifying trends and the latest developments in agribusiness globally, and will determine the focus for the coming years.

AgroWorld Qazaqstan will showcase livestock, poultry and pig farming equipment, feed and fodder components, horticultural equipment, planting materials, seeds, fertilizers, modern irrigation systems, equipment for fruit and vegetable processing, construction and design of agricultural buildings, cold storage and transport solutions for agricultural crops, and modern solutions for greenhouses.

The new context, dictated by the coronavirus pandemic, means a shift of the business focus to automation and robotization of agricultural production, digitalization of machines and technical services, and modern telecommunication technologies. In this regard, industry experts are going to discuss the most pressing issues of development of the agricultural sector of the country within the AgroWorld Qazaqstan Business Programme. Round tables, seminars and B2B meetings will feature the interests of the full chain of cultivation and processing of agricultural products, production, packaging and storage of food and beverages.

Participants in special exhibition events are representatives of international organizations, government agencies, scientific organizations of the EAEU member states, industry unions and associations, business organizations, equipment and technology suppliers, farms, producers and processors of food products from Kazakhstan.

AgroWorld Qazaqstan is held annually with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty City Administration, and industry unions and associations.

The organizers of the exhibition are guided by the recommendations of local executive bodies, WHO and the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), and ensure that during the exhibition, all sanitary and hygienic measures, sanitary treatment and disinfection to prevent the spread of COVID 19 are ensured.
