THE 16TH CENTRAL ASIA INTERNATIONAL AGRICULTURE EXHIBITION - AGROWORLD QAZAQSTAN WILL BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 2-4, 2022 AT ATAKENT KAZAKHSTAN BUSINESS COOPERATION CENTER IN ALMATY.
Remaining the fundamental sector of Kazakhstan's economy, the agro-industrial complex of the country today faces a number of priority tasks, including increasing labor productivity, ensuring food security, the implementation of the country's export potential.
Undoubtedly, these and other challenges, with the right government support, activity and adaptability of agricultural producers can be used as new points of industry growth. AIC of the country continues to show stable development, and according to the data of the Ministry of Agriculture by the end of 2021, the provision of the domestic market with 29 main types of food products, including 19 types of socially important food products due to domestic production is 80 percent or more.According to the report of the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Ye. Karashukeyev, a pool of 559 investment projects of the agro-industrial complex in the period 2022-2025 for a total amount of 2.2 trillion KZT has been identified as of today. It is planned to implement 237 investment projects for the development of agro-industrial complex in the amount of 295 billion KZT by the end of 2022, including 81 projects for 6 types of imported items in the amount of 128.5 billion KZT. It is planned to put into operation 24 meat processing plants, 22 projects on laying gardens on the area of 8.2 thousand hectares, 20 milk processing plants, construction and expansion of 23 poultry farms and 2 projects on modernization and construction of one sugar plant by the end of 2025 in Kazakhstan.
"Particular attention should be paid to the implementation of 127 investment projects in each of the five areas of import substitution, amounting to about 800 billion KZT, which will create about 14 thousand additional job," the minister said.
Taking into account such ambitious plans for further development of agriculture, the holding of sectoral expositions is extremely important for the industry development. Traditionally, AgroWorld Qazaqstan exhibition will be a complex platform for quality dialogue between representatives of government agencies, industry associations and unions, domestic agricultural producers and businesses. The organizers of the exhibition event aim to define the vectors of development and strategic scenarios for the effective functioning of the industry, taking into account the current geopolitical situation, demonstration of innovative equipment and technology from domestic and international producers, as well as high quality networking between members of the agricultural industry.
As of today, more than 120 companies from 13 countries have confirmed their participation: Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia and Turkey.
Traditionally, the Netherlands will be represented with a large national stand, and a number of Russian regions (Tatarstan, Yaroslavl region) will have collective stands at the exposition. Each year the interest in the event is growing, about 20% of the participants perform with a stand for the first time. Large companies such as Akplast, AgroLaboratoriosNutritionals, COBB, Dalival, Elytra, VarioSystem, Glazovskiy Kombikormoviy Zavod, Uralkhim and others are among the newcomers.
Domestic enterprises such as KazPoliv, KosAgroCommerz, Navistar Asia, Distritech, AgroKurs and others will demonstrate competitive modern technologies for growing agriculture and efficient functioning of the industry. The exhibitors of AgroWorld Qazaqstan will present materials and equipment for livestock, poultry and pig production, fodder and feed components, horticultural equipment, greenhouse technologies, planting materials, seeds, fertilizers, modern irrigation systems, equipment for fruit and vegetable processing, construction and design of buildings for agriculture, cold storage and transport solutions for agricultural crops, modern turnkey solutions for greenhouses.

During the three days of the exhibition, a business program will be held, the schedule and content of which will include seminars, master classes from exhibitors, and the traditional Agri-Food Forum, where key experts will discuss key issues in the development of the agricultural industry of Kazakhstan. In his speech at the meeting of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev emphasized that special attention should be paid to agriculture. Thus, within the framework of the Forum, special attention will be paid to the issues of strengthening food security and sustainability of the entire industry, implementation of technologies of digitalization of agriculture and automation of business processes of agricultural enterprises.
The content of the Forum program will include:
Specialized session on greenhouse business;
Roundtable on irrigation;
Seminar on poultry farming.
The central topic of the greenhouse business session is information data in farming. The general partner of the session is the Union of Greenhouses of Kazakhstan. The official partner is IEC Energy. The event will be supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Relevance of the round table on "Irrigation in the south of Kazakhstan. Application of water-saving technologies" is confirmed by its repeated holding this year. The general partner of the session is the Union of Potato and Vegetable Growers of Kazakhstan. The official partners are IEC Energy and Astel JSC.
The general partner of the session "Reliable technologies for profitable business in poultry farming" traditionally became the Union of Poultry Farmers of Kazakhstan. The official partners are COBB and AVA Qazaqstan.
The Forum is attended by representatives of international organizations, supervising government agencies, employees of scientific organizations of the EEU member states, representatives of industry unions and associations, business organizations, suppliers of equipment and technology, farms, producers and processors of food in Kazakhstan.
